Analytics and advertising measurement follow the site’s consent rules

We use Google Analytics 4 on the exact production site, https://aimusic.guide, to understand page use and support eligible advertising measurement. The Google tag is not loaded until measurement is allowed for the current visitor and page.

• Visitors in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland start with analytics and advertising measurement off while the site waits for a choice.
• Selecting OK or continuing to browse—including moving, scrolling, touching, or clicking—records measurement consent in those covered regions.
• Visitors elsewhere, or where a country cannot be determined, receive the site’s regional default of measurement on without the initial notice.
• An explicit “No thanks” choice always takes priority. You can reopen Analytics & ads preferences on any public page to change or withdraw your choice.

Data minimization

Page visits are deliberately reduced before they are sent

Automatic GA4 page views are disabled. The site sends one manual page view only for an allowlisted public route. Query parameters and page fragments are removed; tool and comparison paths are reduced to /tools/:tool and/compare/:pair; the page title is fixed to AIMUSIC.GUIDE; and a referrer is reduced to its origin.

After consent, Enhanced Measurement may automatically send scroll depth, outbound-link metadata including the destination URL, URL-query-based site search, supported YouTube interactions, file-download metadata, and form-interaction metadata. It does not collect form field values through those automatic form events. Correction text, email addresses, private tokens, account or administrator data remain prohibited, and the site’s custom product-interaction event bus remains browser-local.

Cookies and storage

Google may set analytics and advertising cookies after consent

Your choice is stored in first-party browser storage under a versioned AIMUSIC.GUIDE preference. It remains until you change it or clear browser data. Once measurement is enabled, Google may set first-party _ga, _ga_*,_gcl_*, or related measurement cookies and may use eligible advertising identifiers. Withdrawing consent disables future collection and attempts to remove accessible first-party Google measurement cookies.

Google receives information when its analytics service is active, which can include the page and interaction information described above, browser or device information, advertising identifiers when permitted, and an IP address used in providing the service. Limits and retention

Enhanced Measurement and advertising features activate after consent

When measurement is allowed, analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization are granted. The tag permits Google Signals and ad-personalization signals, so enabled GA4 advertising features may support demographics and interests reporting, cross-device reporting, audience creation, or remarketing.

The GA4 property may retain User-ID capability, but this public site has no signed-in user or business-issued stable identifier and therefore sends no user_id today. It does not use email addresses, dummy values, or device identifiers as User-ID. A future authenticated User-ID implementation requires a separate product and privacy change.

Our release policy keeps two-month user and event data retention with reset-on-activity off. Enhanced Measurement, Google Signals, and advertising settings are expected to remain enabled; release verification must confirm their automatic parameters contain no prohibited personal information and that denied or withdrawn consent stops collection.

Correction requests

Contact details are optional and purpose-limited

A correction request may include an optional email address, used only to clarify that request and never published. The email is removed when a closed request reaches 30 days or any request reaches 180 days, whichever comes first. Non-contact correction facts and resolution records may remain as part of the editorial audit trail.
